The Maserati 3200 GT featured a 3.2-liter eight-cylinder engine with two turbochargers and produced 370 horsepower. Zero to sixty took just over five seconds and top speed was achieved at 280 km/h. Power was sent to the rear wheels courtesy of a six-speed manual gearbox and the Brembo self-ventilated, cross-drilled four-wheel disc brakes provided excellent stopping power. The 2+2 GT had ample interior space for its passengers and the $77,000 price tag made the 3200GT an affordable, convenient, and sporty automobile. A Maserati Information Center 5.8 inch color display was located at the center console and gave the driver and passengers the ability to control the stereo system, climate control, and the trip computer. The 3200 GT Assetto Corsa was available for the customers who required an even sportier configuration. Included in the package were larger front anti-roll bars, stiffer springs, reduced ride height, improved brake pads and braking system, 15-spoke alloy wheels, Pirelli P-Zero Corsa soft compound tires, and 'Assetto Corsa' insignia. In all, the package greatly improved the handling and braking.
