WeatherTech Raceway Kicks Off Monterey Car Week with a Racing Car Show Friday Evening, August 9th

Cars competing in the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion races will drive from the track to Alvarado Street in Downtown Monterey and be on display from 5-7 p.m. This is THE kickoff event for 10 days of automotive excitement known as Monterey Car Week. The event is free and fun for the whole family as drivers will be on hand to talk about the races and history of their cars.

Cibo Ristorante Italiano is hosting a special Classic Car Week Driver Reception at the event from 5-7 p.m. Come meet some of the drivers on the patio or inside Cibo's bar and enjoy complimentary appetizers and drink specials while the Car Week Kick-Off event happens on Alvarado Street. There will be live jazz music beginning at 5:30 p.m.
