•Murano rated as an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) TOP SAFETY PICK+ designation (2021 model)1For two decades, the Nissan Murano has stood apart from the competition with its sculptural exterior, elegant interior and choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive powertrains. Over that period, the exterior and interior designs have evolved, yet Murano – originally named after the famed Italian glassworks – retains a unique look and visceral appeal. For 2022, Murano adds a new Midnight Edition package, with black-out front grille, lower fascia, exterior trim and special gloss black 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. It is available on Murano SV front-wheel and all-wheel models. Also for the new model year, Murano SV models add standard leatherette seating surfaces (previously cloth) and heated front seats.Emotional design, inside and outThe 2022 Murano expresses three key elements of Nissan's signature design language – the V-Motion front end, signature C-shaped lights and floating roofline. Prominent glass areas are created through the use of its jet-inspired roof and D-pillars that appear disconnected from the roof, helping lighten the cabin. The result is a 'floating' roof appearance that can be recognized from far away. Standard signature LED headlights and taillights complete the look.Murano achieves a very low 0.31 coefficient of drag, made possible by an active grille shutter, rear bumper surfacing, rear tire deflectors and integrated rear spoiler. For 2022, nine exterior colors are available: Magnetic Black Pearl, Boulder Gray Pearl, Scarlet Ember Tintcoat, Brilliant Silver Metallic, Gun Metallic, Pearl White TriCoat (premium color), Sunset Drift Chromaflair (premium color), Mocha Almond Pearl and Deep Blue Pearl.Murano's 'social lounge' interior creates an inviting atmosphere day or night. The low instrument panel features a large information and control center with a standard 8.0-inch color display with multi-touch control centered between the outer wings. Inside the instrument cluster, the driver can monitor Murano with Nissan's Advanced Drive-Assist™ Display with a 7.0-inch high-resolution color display. All four Murano grades offer NissanConnect® featuring Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and 8.0-inch color display with multi-touch control.Murano SL and Platinum grades include standard NissanConnect® with Navigation featuring Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, 8.0-inch color display with multi-touch control, SiriusXM® Traffic™ and SiriusXM® Travel Link™ (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately). The Door to Door navigation includes connected POI search and premium traffic functions.Available audio systems include an advanced Bose® design with 11 speakers (including dual subwoofers) and standard SiriusXM® Radio (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately).Standard on Murano Platinum is NissanConnect® Services powered by SiriusXM®, which includes services such as automatic collision notification, emergency call and stolen vehicle locator, remote services including start/stop, lock/unlock, flash lights, sound horn, customizable alerts including drive zone, valet, curfew and speed alerts, dealer service scheduling and maintenance alerts (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately). An Amazon Alexa skill is available free of charge under the connected car category within the Amazon Skills Store, allowing owners to use voice commands to remote lock/unlock, honk the horn, flash the lights and start or stop the Murano engine (powered by NissanConnect® Services).Nissan's advanced Zero Gravity seats are standard for front and rear outboard occupants. The rear seats are a three-cushion design. Climate-controlled seats (heating and cooling) are available in front, along with available Quick Comfort™ heated rear seats.Other interior features include standard Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control and Nissan Intelligent Key® with Push Button Ignition. Four seating materials are offered – cloth (S), leatherette-appointed (SV), leather-appointed (SL) and semi-aniline leather-appointed with diamond-quilted inserts (Platinum).Other available comfort and convenience features include heated steering wheel, steering wheel position memory, driver's seat and outside mirror memory and Remote Engine Start2 with Intelligent Climate Control. There are also two ÚSB ports (one Type-A, one Type-C) for the rear seats that allow for charging of devices, along with storage areas and compartments throughout the interior. Overhead, the available Dual Panel Moonroof enhances an open, airy feeling.Murano's cargo area provides ample storage space with the seats up. The rear cargo area, for example, accommodates four large suitcases, while the rear seats fold flat for greater cargo convenience. With the easy rear seat release and available power rear seat return, Murano converts from people hauler to cargo hauler or back within seconds. All configurations can be done from the back, without walking to each door. A convenient Motion-Activated Power Liftgate is standard on SL and Platinum grades.Standard 3.5-liter V6 available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive
