Milton Keynes, 31 July 2019 – More than 24,000 cyclists have taken to the saddle and cycled 43 million metres – the equivalent mileage of almost 13 Tour de France races – over the last seven days to show their support for the Climb for #ThisIsOurTime initiative.
As part of the #ThisIsOurTime campaign to promote women's cycling, ŠKODA UK backed a team of 23 riders from Donnons des elles au vélo (J-1) and the InternationElles – two amateur cycling teams made up of women who are working either full or part-time and many of whom are mothers – to ride every stage of this year's Tour de France route a day before the men for gender equality.
