Countdown To The Biggest CCA Auction This Weekend•Fabulous opportunities at No Reserve

•Everything from Aston Martin to a Vanguard Vignale

•188 Lots of rare, projects and cherished cars looking for new homes

This Saturday (3rd August), Classic Car Auctions will be holding their biggest sale ever of 188 lots of Everyman Classics at the Warwickshire Event Centre.

Among the lots are some fantastic opportunities to get into classic car ownership or add to your existing collection. With cars being offered from the world of entertainment, private collections and an amazing line up of Japanese rarities this auction is going to be a Bahnstormer.

Always exciting to see are the No Reserve cars, they always sell and offer a great opportunity. The first lot off the block will be a hot hatch of the nineties, a 1992 Peugeot 205 1.9 GTi which has had no expenses spared and undergone a full bare metal restoration in 2013. This is a wonderful car which has been dry stored, regularly serviced and done less than 2,000 miles since its restoration. It has also been featured in magazines and also the Haynes Manual, Peugeot 205 The Complete Story. A few lots later is another of these French hot hatches, this time a 1988 1.9 GTi which has been stored for 20 years and has 74,000 miles on the clock. Refurbished in 2017 and sparkling in Cherry Red these are two powerhouses of what was a highly competitive era.

And now for a true British classic and again at No Reserve, Lot 582 a 1968 Morris Minor 1000 saloon. This rather quaint car has been subject to a full body restoration and the engine was rebuilt in 2006 with invoices to prove the expenditure. Presented in a period brown with a new red vinyl interior, this is a great little car. And if one wasn't enough, a second but a bit older, Lot 632 a 1966 version which has also undergone restoration and finished in a period green is also on offer. If Morris' are your chosen classic, there are other options, a 1969 Commercial at £6,000 to £8,000 or an Austin badged pickup, similar to the Commercial being offered at £12,000 to £15,000.

Lot 537, a 1989 Jaguar XJS 3.6 Coupe is also being offered at No Reserve. With the stock of XJS' appearing to be rising, this offering could be a great purchase. Finished in a lovely Gunmetal Grey with Doeskin leather upholstery, this car has been lovingly maintained as the history file will attest.

If you are open to a project, then you should keep an eye on Lot 671, the 1959 Standard Vanguard Vignale. Again, being offered at No Reserve, this car has been in storage for the last few years with the vendor keeping the car charged and turning it over regularly. A great project that could be worth the investment.

Well, these are just some of the No Reserve cars, but there are plenty more lots worth taking note of. The highest value lot ever for CCA is the 2007 Aston Martin Vanquish S estimated at £100,000 to £120,000, there is also the VW Crafter van designed and kitted out for the boy band One Direction at £30,000 to £40,000. With this year being the 60th anniversary of the Mini, keep an eye on the ex Cilla Black Mini with the Wood and Pickett upgrade estimated at £24,000 to £28,000.

Gary Dunne, Classic Car Auctions auction manager commented: 'It is a very exciting time for us at CCA, this auction is the biggest one we have ever done. The team has worked so hard to bring together over 180 lots from No Reserve to the fabulous Aston Martin at £100,000 plus.'

'I would say that we have one of the most diverse high-quality selection of cars on offer and that includes restoration projects.'

Viewing takes place on Friday 2nd August from 10am to 6pm with the auction getting underway on Saturday the 3rd from 10.30am.
