McLaren Beverly Hills Named McLaren Special Operations Retailer Of The Year 2018

April 5, 2019 by McLaren

•This title comes on the heels of the announcement that McLaren Beverly Hills is also the McLaren Automotive Global Retailer of the Year 2018

•Both accolades show the tremendous capabilities of McLaren Beverly Hills, who came under new ownership at the end of 2017

McLaren Beverly Hills, operated by the O'Gara Group, has been named McLaren Special Operations Retailer of the Year 2018 in recognition of outstanding sales and engagement with McLaren's bespoke division. The title, which is noteworthy in its own right, is made even more impressive when added to the recent announcement that McLaren Beverly Hills was named McLaren Automotive's Global Retailer of the Year in 2018.

The MSO Retailer of the Year award is determined through a points system that looks at overall MSO revenue including retailer-specific commissions and MSO Defined and Bespoke content, as well as marketing efforts, such as MSO-focused events.

In December 2018, McLaren Beverly Hills debuted Racing Through the Ages, a collection commissioned through MSO. The collection, which commemorated McLaren's racing heritage, featured three distinct themes with a 570S and 570S Spider in each, for a total of six cars. The collection was debuted and celebrated at An Evening with MSO, a celebration thrown by McLaren Beverly Hills.

'Since taking over the franchise in December 2017, it's been astonishing what McLaren Beverly Hills has accomplished,' said Tony Joseph, President of McLaren North America. 'They have become the largest global retailer in their first year of business, and their focus and passion for McLaren brand has been paramount to their achievements. They have successfully engaged MSO commissions and world-class events for customers and prospects alike. We look forward to their continued momentum and performance in 2019.'

In addition to commissioning bespoke collections, McLaren Beverly Hills has been a big supporter of MSO Defined, which features personalization options for the McLaren Sports and Super Series cars, as well as MSO Bespoke, which allows for almost limitless customization for any new McLaren, from unique exterior paint or interior trim, all the way to the creation of unique, one-off vehicles.

'McLaren Beverly Hills' level of engagement and success with MSO has been nothing short of amazing and what particularly drives this is their foresight,' said Ansar Ali, Managing Director, McLaren Special Operations. 'The strong appetite for MSO bespoke content on the west coast allows them to plan out MSO collections and activities years in advance, confident in the knowledge that there is strong customer demand. This in turn enables us to push our own creativity and produce some exceptionally special cars, just for the Beverly Hills market.'
