Murfreeseboro Mitsubishi Joins Growing Mitsubishi Motors Dealer Network

CYPRESS, Calif. – Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA), the fastest-growing Asian brand in the U.S. for the second consecutive year*, today announced a new addition to the North American dealer network – Murfreesboro Mitsubishi in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The dealership opened its doors to the community on December 14, 2018.

Murfreesboro Mitsubishi is a standalone Mitsubishi dealership in the greater Nashville metro area. It is part of MMNA's ongoing initiative to expand its dealer network in previously untapped urban and suburban markets, while increasing the visibility and awareness of the Mitsubishi brand across the country.

MMNA recently expanded its national field operations network from two zones to four by adding new offices in Florida and California in an effort to reinforce sales support for dealers. Additionally, these new zone offices mean better and faster customer support in parts, accessories and service of their new Mitsubishi. The other field operations are located in New Jersey and Texas.

With four unique vehicles in the hot crossover SUV segment, including the world's best-selling plug-in hybrid SUV*, MMNA posted overall sales of 118,074 vehicles in 2018, up 13.9 percent over 2017. This was the brand's best annual sales performance since 2007, and marked the second consecutive year that MMNA was the fastest-growing Asian brand in the U.S. This momentum continues to strengthen the brand's dynamic CUV lineup while attracting an expanded pool of buyers in showrooms across the country.
