Aston Martin Lagonda wins the COMPANYBEST 2018 award

07 February 2019, Brussels: Aston Martin Lagonda has been awarded the prestigious COMPANYBEST 2018 award at the Auto Best Gala.

The AUTOBEST organisation was established in 2000 with the revolutionary concept of 'The Best Buy Car of Europe'. A total of 31 European nations are represented in the Jury, covering the vast majority of the European population.

The prize is a recognition of the incredible journey of the British company under the leadership of Aston Martin President and Group CEO Dr. Andy Palmer and his management team. Dr. Palmer was previously nominated a member of 'MENBEST' Hall of Fame, a group that features the best executives in the automotive industry.

This evening, Marek Reichman, Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of Aston Martin, was presented with the COMPANYBEST award. Since joining Aston Martin in 2005, Reichman has transformed the visual language of Aston Martin and introduced greater differentiation into the range. All part of the 'Second Century Plan' that Palmer, unveiled in 2015. Reichman said: 'It is a great honour to be accepting this award on behalf of Andy Palmer and everyone at Aston Martin. The pride and the trust in the Aston Martin brand starts with our employees and spreads out to our customers, our racing teams, our dealers and our loyal fans, and I would like to dedicate this award to them.'
