Honda Manufacturing of Alabama (HMA) is Honda's leading light truck production facility employing more than 4,500 associates. HMA has the capability to produce more than 340,000 vehicles and V6 engines each year. Since the start of production on Nov. 14, 2001, HMA has built more than 4.7 million vehicles and engines. HMA's capital investment totals more than $2.6 billion at its 4.6 million square foot facility in Lincoln, Alabama. Honda has been producing automobiles in America for more than 36 years and currently operates 19 major manufacturing facilities in North America. In 2017, more than 90 percent of all Honda brand vehicles sold in the U.S. were made in North America, using domestic and globally sourced parts.
