The Final Piece Of The Puzzle
March 16, 2017 by SubaruSubaru and BMR Racing are delighted to announce that Josh Price will drive the fourth Subaru Levorg with the BMR Racing Academy in the 2017 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship. After an outstanding season in the Renault UK Clio Cup Championship last year, Josh has been supported by the BMR Academy which is the stepping stone system created by BMR to assist drivers in the transition from Clio's to the BTCC. The team have been working on a plan over the winter months to graduate Josh to the BTCC but were unable to finalise the arrangement. Since releasing the news of Josh returning to the Clio Cup, a sponsor has come forward which has allowed Josh to take the leap and make the final piece of the puzzle fit. An excited Josh Price commented 'I'm extremely overwhelmed by the support of BMR and Subaru to get me on the BTCC grid this season at such short notice. I'm looking forward to the challenge that's ahead, as well as working with a team with such a great pedigree.' Speaking of Josh's graduation BMR Racing owner Warren Scott commented 'We are thrilled to welcome Josh into the BMR Racing Academy BTCC team and look forward to watching him progress within the championship throughout what promises to be an unforgettable year.'
