Win a Master's Scholarship in Transportation and Car Design and Enhance Your Career and Employability at Scuola Politecnica di DesignScuola Politecnica di Design - SPD, the first postgraduate school for design disciplines in Italy, invites students and professionals to compete for the first edition of 'Design Master Scholarships 2016' for a Master's scholarship in Transportation and Car Design 2016-2017 .

The competition 'Design students make a better world' is open to students and professionals from all over the world aged 21 to 44. Participate at http://www.studentcompetition.design/ till 8th April 2016.

The Future of Automotive Design

There are plenty of creative people in the world. If you are one of them and have graduated in Transportation or Car Design, Industrial Design, Vehicle Engineering or equivalents fields, there are great career opportunities in the automotive industry. The career of the car designer blends creative design and automotive styling skills with elements of engineering, ergonomics and marketing.

The Master in Transportation and Car Design, at Scuola Politecnica di Design, enables to face complex projects using a multidisciplinary approach also thanks to the long term educational partnership with Volkswagen Group Design involving the participation of designers from the various brands – from Audi to Lamborghini – in the teaching activities.

The Master's programe, organized in collaboration with IULM University and award academic degree certificates recognized by the MIUR - Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research - embraces the entire design development process by researching into new experiential concepts, redefining architectural solutions and moving forward with new criteria for comfort and efficiency. At SPD designers are able to face complex projects using a multidisciplinary approach.

They are called on to envision progressive transportation concepts that fit a future scenario where cars are no more the unrivaled player. The Master's lasts 15 months , entirely in English, and at the end of lessons, students finalize their research project in collaboration with the academic sponsor. Post-Master's internship opportunities are available for high potential profiles at the end of the programe.
