MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR MUSCLE CARS DOMINATE DAY 8 AT MECUM KISSIMMEE 2016• Muscle Cars, Ferraris, Corvettes, Daytona 24 Hour Winning Porsche 962 To Headline World's Largest Collector Car Auction on Saturday

Kissimmee, Fla. – Jan. 22, 2016 – Dana Mecum was not exaggerating when he described the 'Monumental Muscle' that crossed the Mecum auction block on Friday as unprecedented. The standing-room-only crowd in the arena at Osceola Heritage Park and viewers across the country watching live on NBCSN witnessed intense bidding on nearly 400 collector cars offered on day 8 of Mecum Kissimmee 2016. The top ten sales of the day were dominated by Hemi power with a 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible (Lot F109) leading all sales thus far at $2,675,000. The world's largest collector-car auction opened on Jan. 15 and continues through Sunday, Jan. 24, at the Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Fla.

More muscle, more Ferraris, and the Daytona 24 Hour Winning Porsche 962 are set to headline a roster of more than 350 cars staged and ready to cross the block on Saturday. Gates open at 8 a.m. and the auction begins with Road Art at 8:30 a.m.
