THE ROAD TO WORLD CAR CONTINUES…WITH A STOP IN LOS ANGELESThe Road to World Car began its journey in Frankfurt on September 15 and will end with the declaration of the 2016 winners at the New York International Auto Show on March 24, 2016.

En route, The Road to World Car is currently making a 4 ½ day stop in Los Angeles so that 23 international journalists can test-drive 9 of the contenders in the 2016 World Car of the Year, World Luxury Car and World Performance Car categories. The journalists conducting the L.A. test-drives represent one-third of the 74 jury panel who will vote on the winners in two-rounds of voting in mid-January and mid-February 2016.

The official list of nominees for the World Car of the Year, World Luxury Car, World Performance Car, World Green Car and World Car Design of the Year are all listed on the web site too.

The next stop on The Road to World Car will be at the Geneva International Motor Show where the top three finalists in each category will be announced prior to the final declaration of all winners during the awards ceremony at the New York International Auto Show on March 24, 2016.

2016 marks the 10th year anniversary of the partnership between the World Car Awards and the New York International Auto Show.

As the global nature of the industry continues to strengthen, and the pace of innovation continues to accelerate, World Car is excited to be a part of this amazing journey along with the New York International Auto Show, Prime Research, Bridgestone, Autoneum and Newspress.
