In addition to the many great collector vehicles to be offered there, we are thrilled to announce our latest feature consignment – a stunning 1955 Facel Vega FV-1 coupe – at No Reserve.

A highly desirable example of the low-volume luxury GT car selected by the world's top business, entertainment, and social luminaries, this FV-1 carries fascinating early history as one of only three FV-1 models sold new in the United States. Numbered FV1 55-050, it was delivered new to one Mr. Milestone in California, who was quite likely the long-running Academy Award-winning director of such iconic films as All Quiet on the Western Front, Two Arabian Nights, and the star-studded Ocean's Eleven.

Other noted collectors followed, and a mid-1990s professional restoration was followed by display of this FV-1 at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in 1996 and podiums at the 2011 and 2012 Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance. A West Coast car, primarily in California, this FV-1 benefits from further preservation and elevation under the current owner and it continues to exemplify the European Grand Touring concept in all possible respects with its dashing alloy body, outstanding livery, leather-trimmed interior, and robust Chrysler Firedome V-8 powerplant.
