1933 Beauford Phaeton 1933 Beauford Phaeton 1933 Beauford Phaeton British-based Beauford Company was originally located in Upholland, Lancashire but later moved to Stoke on Trent. They were established in 1985 and began building kit cars. Their original vehicles used a MINI bodyshells which were later replaced by fiber-glass mouldings resting on a ladder chassis.

Many of their cars have 1930s designs with modern, updated mechanical components. Power is from a variety of sources, including Ford, Nissan, and Rover. Many of their vehicles are used as wedding transportation.

This example was driven by Brendan Fraiser in the Universal Studio's movie, 'The Mummy Returns.' It was factory built in the UK and purchased new by Universal Studios. It is an old car style with a modern drive line. Underneath is a modern Ford Sierra drivetrain. The Ford four-cylinder engine has carried the car only 1300 miles since new.
