05 April 2019, Whitley, UK: Archie Hamilton, digital influencer and endurance racer, is starring as the VIP guest driver in the second European race of the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY calendar in Paris on 27 April 2019 competing on behalf of the championship's Official Tyre Supplier, Michelin.

Hamilton, 28, has mastered his racing prowess over recent years having competed in Formula Renault and Porsche Carrera Cup championships as well as the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Returning to motorsport with Jaguar is fitting for the British driver as his grandfather, Duncan Hamilton, also raced with Jaguar and won at Le Mans, co-driving a works C-Type Jaguar in 1953.

Archie Hamilton, Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY VIP driver for Paris, said: 'It's a special opportunity to be able to walk in similar footsteps to your grandfather. It's amazing to think he competed with Jaguar in the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans and now I'm stepping in to the innovative Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY racecar in Paris.'

'I can't wait to get behind the wheel and see what electric street is really like; I have watched the previous races, but that is nothing compared to racing the car itself.'

Michelin is the Official Tyre Supplier to the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY.
