Mitsubishi Motors Welcomes Mike Duman Mitsubishi Into Expanding Dealer Network

CYPRESS, Calif. – Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA), the fastest-growing Asian brand in the U.S. for the second consecutive year*, today announced a new addition to the North American dealer network – Mike Duman Mitsubishi in Suffolk, Virginia. The dealership opened its doors to the community on Jan. 17, 2019.

Mike Duman Mitsubishi joins the established network of Mike Duman dealerships in the greater Virginia Beach area. The addition of a stand-alone Mitsubishi dealership helps to further increase the visibility and awareness of the Mitsubishi brand and its diverse lineup of vehicles to Virginia Beach residents.

Last year, MMNA expanded its national field operations network from two zones to four by adding new offices in Florida and California in an effort to reinforce sales support for dealers. Additionally, these new zone offices mean better and faster customer support in parts, accessories and service of their new Mitsubishi. The other field operations are located in New Jersey and Texas.

With four unique vehicles in the hot crossover SUV segment, including the Outlander PHEV the world's best-selling plug-in hybrid SUV**, MMNA posted overall sales of 118,074 vehicles in 2018, up 13.9 percent over 2017. This was the brand's best annual sales performance since 2007. This momentum continues to strengthen the brand's dynamic CUV lineup while attracting an expanded pool of buyers in showrooms across the country.
