Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles' annual awards recognise top Van Centres

• Awards given for performance and customer satisfaction across key areas
• Eurovans Eastbourne claims overall top performing Van Centre award
• Four 'Gold Pin' awards celebrate long and exceptional service providers

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has recognised the achievements of the top performers in its UK network at its 2018 performance awards event, held in London at the weekend for representatives from its 71 dedicated Van Centres and 26 Authorised Repairers.

2018 was a good year for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, with the brand recording a small rise in sales in a market that declined slightly. The Amarok and Crafter saw significant growth, with the full range of Crafter models now available. Most important to customers was the ongoing delivery of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles' Working With You promise, to provide a professional, expert and bespoke package of products and aftersales services to every customer and business.

Seven category awards were given to recognise performance across a number of key areas, from new and used sales, through customer experience, loyalty and people to Authorised Repairers. There were also three Top Performing Van Centre accolades which recognise overall results across a number of the key areas. Success in 2018 was spread across a selection of Van Centres, though as in previous years, JCT600 and Eurovans Eastbourne have dominated the league tables.

Overall Top Performer Awards

•  Gold Award:	Eurovans Eastbourne
•  Silver Award:	JCT600 Volkswagen Van Centre (Hull)
•  Bronze Award:	Southern Motor Group (Tonbridge)

Accolades were also given for individual business area performances. The category winners were as follows:

•  New Sales Award:	JCT600 Volkswagen Van Centre (Hull)
•  Used Sales Award:	Eurovans Eastbourne
•  Loyalty Award:	South Hereford Van Centre
•  Service and Parts Award:	Citygate Colindale Van Centre
•  Top Performing Authorised Repairer Award:	Ingram Van Service (Ayr)
•  Customer Experience Award:	Agnew Van Centre Mallusk (Belfast)
•  People Award:	Agnew Van Centre Mallusk (Belfast)

Presenting the awards, Carl zu Dohna, Director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK, said: 'Our dedicated UK Van Centre network remains the lifeblood of our business, with staff not only selling our multi-award-winning products, but giving our customers the ownership experience and in-life support that differentiates us from the competition. At the same time, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles presented four Gold Pin awards, given to members of staff from across the network who have demonstrated exceptional and often long service to the brand. This year's recipients are:
