Luton – Vauxhall has achieved an outstanding result at the J.D. Power UK Customer Satisfaction Awards today, as both Insignia and Mokka X were announced as best in their classes. The Insignia was rated most dependable vehicle in the midsize car segment, while the Mokka X achieved the award for most dependable small SUV.
The results were determined from the annual Vehicle Dependability Study, which is carried out by J.D. Power and gathers direct feedback from customers. Focussing on the long-term dependability and reliability of vehicles, the study asks more than 11,000 original vehicle owners in the UK how satisfied they are with their car after 12-36 months of ownership.
'We are delighted to receive these awards for two of the most popular vehicles in our range,' said Paul Dodd, Vauxhall's Head of Product Marketing. 'These latest awards for the Insignia and Mokka X reinforce that our customers feel they are getting excellent reliability, as well as incredible value for money.'
The Vauxhall Insignia is packed with state-of-the-art equipment, including the IntelliLink infotainment system, which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto phone connectivity. The car features a full five-star Europe NCAP crash safety score, owing in part to the latest safety technology such as Lane Keep Assist and Automatic Emergency Braking.
This latest award for the Insignia adds to its long line of accolades, having been previously recognised at the Carbuyer Best Car Awards, 4x4 Magazine Awards, Auto Express Awards and Company Car Today 100 Awards.
With a stylish and sporty design, the Mokka X is packed with innovative technology that make it ready for any adventure. A spacious interior and sports seats ensure ultimate comfort, while optional four-wheel drive technology automatically optimises your road grip, as well as offering off-road capabilities.
