NEW YORK – April 11, 2019 – While the all-new Jeep Gladiator continues its nationwide auto show tour with the 2019 New York International Auto Show, April 19-28, 2019 at the Jacob Javitz Convention Center in Manhattan, Katzkin Leather continues its own showing of Mopar upfit programs, culminating with Mopar's customized upfit interior package for the highly-anticipated new Jeep truck. To highlight the newest of five distinct Mopar upfit Jeep collaborations with Katzkin, Cruise Control radio, the nationally syndicated automotive radio show, will be giving away one Katzkin interior to a lucky entrant, with a 2010 or newer Jeep, who can visually and verbally describe why '#myjeepneedskatzkin'. The contest will begin on Saturday, April 13th, prior to the official opening of the show, and last through May 15th with entrants posting their personal responses on Facebook and Instagram, and the winner will be chosen by Cruise Control radio.

Those visiting the NY Auto Show will find the Sting Gray Gladiator within the Mopar display, offering Katzkin's rich Tuscany leather interior which is offset with the brand's 'hex tech' inserts and gray stitching. Katzkin upfit customization packages can be purchased on various 2019 and 2020 FCA vehicles including the Jeep Gladiator, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Compass and RAM Truck.

The Cruise Control radio promotion highlights Katzkin's 16-year partnership with Mopar and will be open to all Jeep owners looking to upgrade their 2010 or newer Jeep model with a Katzkin leather interior and showcasing why they 'need Katzkin.'

Doug Johnson, director of OEM development for Katzkin, will be announcing the contest during a nationally syndicated live interview with Cruise Control host Fred Staab, on Saturday morning April 13th at 10:30am EST. According to Johnson, over the length of the partnership, Katzkin and Mopar have joined together to support nearly every product in the Jeep family.

'Katzkin is the only aftermarket custom-focused leather interior manufacturer working directly with an OEM to really bring the personality out of these vehicles. Our Jeep specific programs are only getting more creative,' said Johnson. All entrants will need to provide a photo of their current Jeep interior and explain why they need a Katzkin transformation in their vehicle. One winner will be chosen and will have their new interior installed through a local restyling location near them. All entries must include #myjeepneedskatzkin as a hashtag.
