•Aston Martin Rapide S wins category Luxury Class

•Aston Martin DB11 Volante and DBS Superleggera went on the podium as well in the categories Cabrio Class and Sports Car Class respectively

31 January 2019, Frankfurt am Main / Stuttgart: Aston Martin has once again celebrated success in the latest readers' vote for the 'Best Cars 2019' held by renowned German automotive magazine auto motor und sport.

The 2019 awards were presented on Thursday in Stuttgart and decided entirely via readers' votes, the Aston Martin Rapide S was recognised as the clear winner in the Luxury Class Import category.

Meanwhile, the DB11 Volante was voted second in category Cabrio Class Import, and the DBS Superleggera was voted third in category Sport Car Class Import.

Oliver Turner, Regional President Aston Martin Lagonda of Europe, said: 'We are extremely delighted that the Rapide S was awarded this prize by the readers of such a highly regarded car magazine. For the 43rd time, auto motor und sport has presented Europe's most important award 'Best Cars'. Over 105 thousand readers participated in this year's vote, choosing their favourites from 385 models in 11 categories.
